Privacy policy
We collect your email address only if you hand it to us, and we use it only to tell you about BlockZap.
Who we are
Yippee Studio LLC is a limited liability company based in Sioux City, Iowa, United States. You can reach us at hello@yippeestudio.com. For anything in this policy, that is the address to use.
What we collect
Your email address, but only if you type it into the waitlist form and submit it. Alongside it we store which part of the site you signed up from and the date you did it, so we know what is working.
Your IP address, temporarily, when you submit the waitlist form. It is used to rate-limit submissions so the form cannot be flooded, and it is not stored alongside your email as part of any profile.
We do not run analytics, advertising trackers or third-party cookies on this site. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Why we use it
To send you news about BlockZap: playtest invitations and the launch. That is the only reason. We will not send you anything else, and we will not sell, rent or share your address with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
We use a small number of services to run this site. They process data on our behalf and under contract:
- Vercel hosts the site and produces standard server logs.
- Resend stores the waitlist and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays on the waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Rate-limiting records expire within 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@yippeestudio.com and we will action it. There are two of us, so it will be one of us replying.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the CCPA. We honour those requests regardless of where you are, because maintaining two standards for this would be more work than simply doing the right thing.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and the waitlist is not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email address, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you directly rather than quietly editing the page.
