Why we started Yippee Studio

Two people, two frustrations with mobile games, and a plan to let the people who play ours decide what we build next.

Yippee Studio is two people, a husband and wife. In 2026 we stopped talking about making games and started making one.

The two things that annoyed us enough to start

Ads you could not escape, and games we paid for that stopped getting updates once the money was in.

Games cost money to make and we are a business too. But paying should buy you something that lasts. So our first game is free with ads, and $4.99 removes them permanently. One payment, and it does not mean we are done with the game.

Letting players steer

We would rather be told than guess. Our roadmap is public before our first game has shipped, and there is a suggestion box next to it. It comes to the two of us, and what turns up there changes what we build.

If you have played a puzzle game and thought why does nobody do this, that is what we want to hear.

Our kids play too

They are why Kids Mode exists rather than something we bolted on later. It switches off purchases, the leaderboard and player names, holds ads to age-appropriate content, and a parent turns it on once.

What we are working on

BlockZap, a block puzzle. It is not finished, there is no release date, and we are not going to invent one.

If you want to know when it is playable, join the waitlist. That is the only thing we will email you about.
